These are my own set of rules, similar to the ones I used for by The Sims 3 100 Baby Challenge
Challenge Rules:
- There is one matriarch who will give birth to 100 babies
- The matriarch must not be an occult sim, but can have babies with occult sims
- No money cheats are to be used
- It is recommended to play on normal lifespan
- There will be no pre-aging up of the children, to preserve the natural age gaps between the kids
- No reusing of fathers (one pregnancy per father)
- The mother cannot have a job after the first baby is born. She can hold a job up until giving birth
- Adoptions are allowed but do not count towards the 100
- Teens can get part-time jobs
- No cheats or mods to determine the gender or parity of each pregnancy are to be used. Game mechanics such as lot traits, rewards, or the fertility massage are allowed
- Children can only move out after they have grown into Young Adults
- The matriarch is allowed to own a business
- The household is permitted to have a maid but the children are encouraged to help around the house
- The matriarch is allowed to have boyfriends/girlfriends, but be aware that the nature of the challenge may cause problems with jealousy etc. She can get married after the last baby is born
- It is recommended to use the potion of youth to keep the matriarch young. In my challenge I allowed my matriarch to age into an Adult at the halfway point of the challenge (after having 50 babies)
- All money must be earned by the matriarch (with the exception of income from children's jobs or hobbies). No external income such as child support from mods is allowed
- Family holidays are allowed, but all household members must come
Optional Household Rules:
- All babies have a first and middle name
- Children and Teens may only take the day off school if they are sitting on an 'A' or if there is a family event
- There must be a memory of each child in the house - my matriarch Arden painted each child as a Young Adult and kept the paintings in a gallery
- If Get Together is owned, a family club with moved out children is a great way for the family to keep in touch and hang out
- It is recommended to keep a spreadsheet keeping track of all the children (including their names, father, whether they're a twin/triplet, traits, aspirations, partners and children)
