Arden Westbrook's 100 Baby Challenge: When I'm Sixty-Four

Becoming a teenager hadn't bode well with Augie. He was rather upset that he hadn't turned out to be a vampire like his dad; that his eyes were too small; and that he had too many sisters. He even refused to shave, I guess to add to his broodiness.

Hoo boy, an emotional breakdown. We hadn't had one of those in a while.

"Mum, what can I do?"

"Well, honey, you can't change your eyes, and I can't help that I've had more daughters than sons during your life. As for the vampire thing, if you are set on being one, and I am not encouraging this, then you could ask your dad to turn you. There's no way of telling if he'll agree though."

That's the look of someone who was just eaten by the cowplant.

Me, Indie/Evie, Augie, Sophie, Piper and Bronte gathered for tree decorating (Iris in back).

So many things going on in this picture. I've passed the Blessing of the Ancients on to Maisie; Holly is making a funny face and my arm is going through Piper's boob.

Meanwhile it's birthday time! Go Sophie!

And Bronte doesn't make it to her cake. She's filled out a little.

Over at their new house in Newcrest, Piper has fulfilled her animal loving dream by adopting Olive, a balinese.

She also adopted Champ, a silky terrier.

Meanwhile, I am behind her shovelling snow.

And ploughing my shovel through my daughter's bottom?! Speaking of snow, this is the first snow I've seen in a long time. It hardly ever snows in Oasis Springs.

Amelia was there too!

Well, it seems like it's a sign. I was set up on a blind date with Randolph, and he kept showing up places, including in Selvadorada! It's time to make him my next father.

Telling Augie (who joined the scouts to cheer himself up and take his mind off things) the good news - I'm pregnant again!

This is not the first time Bronte has fallen for this. So long as she doesn't do it again in the next two days, she'll be fine...

You'd be forgiven for thinking that Augie had aged down... this is actually Beckett, his little half-brother/nephew! He is the son of Caleb (Augie's dad) and Maisie (my 54th baby) and he and Augie look identical, and like Caleb. For this New Year's, I decided to just have the (living) grandkids over. There's ten of them!

This is Julian, Baby 45 Darby's son.

This is Rory, Baby 50 Aiden's lookalike son.

This is Royce, Baby 56 Ralph's son.

This is Stetson, Julian's twin and therefore also Darby's son.

This is Johanna, Baby 53 Finley's daughter.

And her identical twin Tiffany. Why do they have to have the same hairstyle??

This is Benny, Baby 49 Otis' son.

This is Gavin, Baby 55 Amelia's son. He is a mini Orange!

And this is Gavin's big sister Brielle. She gets her black hair from her paternal grandmother, Octavia.

Everyone gathered around watching New Year's TV: Benny, Bronte, Brielle, me, Indie, Armando (Bronte's 'friend'), Julian, Sophie, Tiffany, Beckett (behind), Rory, Johanna, Royce and Stetson, with Gavin hiding behind Johanna's leg. Augie and Evangeline were around too.

Julian's face cracked me up. It was kind of creepy.

Me and Tiffany, the grandchild I have the highest relationship with. In the relationship panel, she is known as 'The Best Lil' Boo'.

Bronte and Benny continue to stare at the television.

The next day, Sophie decides to get a job - she is now in the detective career!

Meanwhile, it's time to do a whip around to see how my older children are going. Ralph's girlfriend Izumi has just told him they are expecting a surprise baby! They're getting old, so this was definitely not planned.

Ralph responds with a proposal, and they are engaged!

Ralph: "Royce, your mother and I are engaged. Oh, and you're also going to be a big brother."

Meanwhile, Iris is also pregnant!

Boyfriend (and our maid) Rachid is now an elder, so he is shocked.

But also excited, despite the fact he won't have much time with his child.

Iris is happy (she wanted a piece of Rachid to live on since he's nearing death).

She tells Piper straight away, and I can't tell if she's happy or not. They've already got two ladies, a dog and a cat cramped into their tiny two-bedroom home and they're going to add a baby to that!
