One day, this strange, broody and handsome fella showed up on our doorstep.
Turned out he was a vampire named Caleb Vatore.
I became pregnant and then went into labour whilst opening presents on Winterfest!
Augie Caleb was born the morning after Winterfest. He was my 61st baby.

He was a broody teenager. He was rather upset that he hadn't turned out to be a vampire like his dad; that his eyes were too small; and that he had too many sisters. He even refused to shave, I guess to add to his broodiness.

He loved having a living brother (apart from Ralph, who had moved out).
